Can someone please explain these wheels, I like the way the lips are the same and the rear seems to be wider. I'm not sure what I'm trying to say but If you look at most 10" rears there is a bigger lip than the front. It's the only thing I dislike about the fr500's It's what I like about these rims I believe they are saleens. Do y'all think there is a spacer used to get this wheel that far out? Is there a fr500 10" wide without offset (lip)? I will be putting these on a 94 GT and have a similar look as this car.

Don't believe you can get FR500's without the deep dish, Saleens don't even have deep dishes though. It all depends on the wheel though if you really wanted to you could get a non deep dish FR500 wheel and widen it.

I beleive slykin is right. you would prolly have to get fr500's widened to do that.

PS. that car is sick. no wheel gap!!! i love it!!

Yeah it all just depends on the style of the wheel. Saleens don't have a lip so they look the same regardless if they're 9 or 10" wide.

I'm pretty sure that car was photo-chopped... I vaguely remember someone on here saying they did it to see what it would look like on
their car or something. I dont know..
But if you dislike the lip on the rear of FR500s, but still like the wheels, then why not get 9 inch wheels front and rear, and buy 3/8" or 1/2"
spacers to fill the gap.. No lip and flush with the rear quarter.

Have to agree as that rear tire would be in shreds by the time it got out of the driveway and onto the street. Unless it's got airbags that he deflates for show duty, then I don't see how it can be driven that way on a real street.

Like everyone else said, if you don't like the rear lip on staggered wheels like FR500s, the either buy a set of 18x9s or 17x9s all the way around and use some spacers to get the wheel to sit close to flush with the rear fender. If you're set on having FRs but with the wider rear wheel then send them off to get widened, you will still have to use spacers to get the "flush" look but you will have a wider wheel out back. Saleen wheels don't have the staggered look to them since they don't have a lip to begin with, all that is done to these wheels is that a thicker mounting flange is made for the wheel and the extra width is actually adder to the inside of the wheel instead of the outside like on FR500 and Bullitt wheels.
