Will my blower be enough?

Well, as some of you know I am in the process of building up my motor. I just ordered my forged internals, and just got my block back from being .20 bored and honed and whatnot. I will be running stage 3 heads/stage 3 cams/meth/bolt ons/8 rib/ SI Trim/Paxton front mount....just to give an idea. Now, through my built auto I want to be ATLEAST in the mid 500rwhp. I think that my weakest point will be my SI trim. Do you think it would still be possible to reach my goal using this blower? thanks

most definately...

i doubt it takes anymore than 12-15 PSI to get there either, but with the build motor you'll make a good bit LESS boost than previously yet make more power.

i think you'll be surprised.

I think its going to be close. A stock PI motor with on bolt ons and an SI trim made just over 4 @ the tire, you figured your cams, port and a little more boost, should result in close to 5 but Id say a T trim would get you there and youd be money

awesome. I just did some research and was happy to read about multiple guys in this power range through roughly 15-18psi through the SI trim.

I honestly cant justify in spending $800 more for a T trim, when the SI trim flows 50cfm less. I forgot to mention i will also be going 8 rib and running 10% od crank. My setup is with 18cc pistons which will put me roughly 9.5:1

with your heads/cams i still say you'll be pleasantly surprised when you see the numbers, so long as the tune is on point i see closer to 600 than 500, oh are we talking mustang dyno or dynojet. either way you should be happy.

that thing is gonna be a monster dude.

With that much power through the stalled auto I would think you would be deep in the 10s assuming the car can hook

i pretty much have every suspension mod keeping it 4 link that i could. I would think if i could hook that i should see 10s, but you know how these cars are....ya never know. All in all, I want to eventually see 600's out of this thing. I doubt in the beginning I will see 600, but all it should take is some playing with the pulleys and i should be there.

Well, with im at 385 rwhp and im pretty confident my car would do 11.50s with slicks.

I would sure hope with another 150-200 rwhp you can pull 10s lol

I'll just be running 93 octane with snow performance's stage 2 boost cooler kit which makes it about 116 octane. thanks guys for the props.

considered E85 or is it not readily available around there yet??? i know the meth plus pump gas will make more power but it seems like constantly worrying about a meth pump failing or line failing would be too much for me.

i have talked to a few race shops about e85 and they made it seem like it isnt an easy thing to come by here in south jersey. i have considered that, thanks for the opinion
