Gotta love the skirtless! i'll never go back. Less IS more, no doubt. I hear ya on that bro.

I had to go lower with my car after i removed the skirts, but man does it looks better IMO.
Skirtless and slammed looks more agressive than some body kit IMO.

Sapphire Blue is the name of the Ford color. 1 yr only color, 1995. Something like 3500 made. LOVE this color.

I couldn't agree more a/b skirtless/slammed > bodykits. The lines of the car are muscular enough -they don't need any add ons. Now, I just need to get 1" lower.

Go with H&R SS's. I love the stance i get with mine. Looks very "Muscle cary" LOL.

I have a pic or 2 if you want.

Either that or go with coil overs.

Well I do love cobra bumpers, BUT just on cobras. It's bad enough -to me- that I have 315s on a stock 5.0 motor. She has 4.10s and a shift kit on the auto, so it's not COMPLETELY stock, drivetrain-wise.... but she's still got a lot more tire than it needs.

no $$- these are cut (15 y/o!) factory springs w/ new (to me, anyway. They're low mileage 2nd hands from a friend on a local board) Tokico Blues. I'm talking w/ my father-in-law a/b fabbing a lowered mount (on the rear end) for the shox so that I can cut the springs a bit more. Either that, or I'm talking to a local cat w/ a 99 cobra that is building a boosted (23lb!) motor for drag racing and he wants to swap his IRS for my stick axle.
As it is, the car bottoms out a couple times a wk. (sad face).

My planned suspension is 2" drop spindles (for the front, duh) from Racecraft w/ Bullitt suspension kit (insert Ford Racing Part# here...).
In the rear I already have Weight Jacker style (j shaped) LCAs that lower the spring mounting perch 1". Cutting the dead coil off the rear Bullitt spring would get me a/b 2" down in the rear.
This plan will ride decently w/o sacrificing much comfort. Unless it's always banging it's belly on the ground -that doesn't feel or sound good.

to get much lower, I really need to do something drastic w/ the exhaust -it drags on everything b/c it's 3.25" off the ground. Literally -I've measured.

im diggin the wheels, very nice.
Thanks! I really wanted to go 15"
With these:
crr-342-5160.jpg

these:
crr-61015.jpg

or these:
crr-325799.jpg

BFG T/A radials sized 295/50-15s are wider than these 315 Nitto DRs and are 1" taller, so I get .5 of ground clearance back, and it fills .5" of wheelwell gap. win/win/win in my book.
PLUS, it goes w/ the old school feel I get from the last year of the pushrod 5.0s.

Everyone's seen a sn95 on cobra wheels -not many cars done like I want mine! I'd have already done it, but I got such a KILLER deal on these wheels/tires that I couldn't pass 'em up. PLUS w/ these I can use what's left of the new tires I had just put on my tri-bars.

no problem. Bet there are a lot of ppl that don't care for it. If everyone liked it I probably wouldn't.
once I get her a bit lower I'll be in love.

That's fine man. Different people have different taste. That's why I tell people to mod their cars the way THEY like it. After all that's what matters.
