Ughh... I had been looking forward to Powertour coming thru town for A YEAR. but then May came and I forgot all about it!

Aw man that sucks!! I went to Texarkana and LR it was a blast! I went to LR 5 years ago when it was there but this time was way bigger and better! Seen some pretty sweet SN cars both days this year. Sucks you missed it!

I took a lot of pix of my dirty girl while frying a couple turkeys on thursday.
Here's the car's front suspension:
--2" drop spindles from http://www.racecraft.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=280&products_id=68
--x2 ball joints http://www.steeda.com/store/steeda-x2-mustang-balljoint-kit-555-8101/

in the back it has Granatelli WeightJacker lcas
http://granatellimotorsports.com/pr...ower_Control_Arms_w_weight_jacker-126-27.html

I've got stock springs and Tokico Blue shocks.

I shot these because I get lots of people asking about clearance

dirty car, but this is more informational:

24.5" to the lip (front, of course):

Have a lot going on in this picture. I tried to label stuff to make it clearer. The 2x4 is under there as a visual aid to show the clearance under the lowest part of the h-pipe. I'm going to take the car back to the exhaust shop soon, because the short crossover pipe that joins the two sides of my H is too short. Once they put a longer pipe in the middle the exhaust will tuck up 1" closer. As it is, I drag on taller speedbumps and some driveways. The extra height should be perfect.
Here's the clearance image:

oh, and I forgot to mention it has EnergySuspension Poly-bushings (the COMPLETE KIT), and Kenny Brown EXTREME MATRIX brace system -not that either would really matter for the stance of the car. But these combined with the Tokico shocks really tighten up the ride. Only things I'd like to add to the chassis is a tubular K-member and bigger swaybars. The former because my stock k-member has really taken a beating and has a big crease/crack; and the bars to a) keep the body from rolling onto the tires b) make it handle that much sharper!

I like the way the car rides, and I love the way it looks. I wish it rode a little bit softer, but until I change out my wheels that can't happen.

Funny you mention Lightning -he was my inspiration to go with the steelies. I had been watching the movie with my son (for the millionth time) and thought "hmmm... he's kinda shaped like an SN95." it was downhill from there!
