Winter Mods!! Post 'em up!

Well, I've gone a little bonkers over the last couple of months, but I've gotten some great deals in the process.

The GT Badges after customizing them and painting them Oxford white to match my car. (This was a lot of work, I don't recommend trying this unless you have a lot of patience.)

These haven't gotten here yet, but should be here by Friday or Monday.

Sweet man, your gonna love the sound of those Borlas! I just got my Moates Quarterhorse and PMAS HPX mass air sensor, they are going on the car this weekend, along with a tune. other than that, the car got a fresh tune up in preparation for the tune on Saturday, a fresh rear axle build including a Saleen stud girdle, all new bearings, C clip elims and 3.55 gears, and a fresh transmission.

I haven't changed my interior stuff yet, the car is tucked away in my moms garage across town, plus I don't want to put all of that stuff in before I have the headers installed you never know what might happen if anyone gets their grubby little fingers on it in the shop.

I'll try to remember to let you know if I decide to sell them or whatever.

I got a set of Mr. Gasket Ultra Seals for the Header gaskets, most everyone on here seemed to be in agreement that they were the best.. Got those for $19.99 shipped from CJ pony parts. Basically just looks the same as the FRPP gaskets to me. I need to replace my oil pan gasket too, any recommendations for that?

Also thinking about doing a K-Member, been looking at the QA1 setup quite a bit, I like the fact that you can use the stock A-Arms and springs rather than going crazy with the coil overs.. Anyone have any input on those?

They're actually in pretty good shape, just need a good cleaning and they'll be good as new basically just have a little surface rust where they go together and into the collectors. I certainly can't complain since I got the complete set, headers and mid pipe for $325 shipped.

nah that's really good man, i was referring more to how they're all individual pieces, mine were just one piece on each side.

Nice list you got there buddy, looks like you should have a good set up. Be careful with qa1 thats what I have but my K was made in 03 when they were built in America. They have since outsorced and are being made elsewhere and some of the welds/quality of the k's seem to be alot different then how mine look. But everything you have looks nice.

I paid $150 for My Borla Stinger Catback

I am getting my full length subframes welded sometime next week.

I will also be going up to Richmond about an hour away to pick up a 87 Fox Block.
