Like six months ago i got into an accident (thanks massive oversteer) I just got everything put back to stock... I wish I would've gotten a cobra front bumper though because they look good on everything.

Adjuster will be here Mon or Tues. We'll see what it's gonna cost and maybe I can get some parts cheap and upgrade while I'm at it. Maybe a body kit?

Use the money to put down on another DD and make the GT a full MM suspended track dawg. :thumb:

Why are you going to make a claim on insurance? I dont know how they work down there, but here, when its time for renewal they will jack up your rates, just because you made a claim.

I say suck it up and pay outta your pocket and get the car fixed. They wont total it tho. It looks very repairable. Ive seen worse.

from what i can see its all cosmetic. Any good body shop will fix that under 2K

Update!
The adjuster came today, and yes by his estimate he could have worked it to a total loss. I had requested not to if possible, so he wrote it up a couple hundred dollars less than that. He was real cool about it. Just so everyone knows, four thousand dollars of MM suspension does not affect the value of your car. Of course I knew that, but when the most insurance will pay is about 3500.00 total on your car, makes you think about some specialty insurance written at an agreed value. I'm gonna check into that when I get it fixed.
The difference between total and fix was replace quarter panel or pull it. Got a good bud that's going to take care of it. I'll take it to him and see what it's gonna cost. May have enough for some other custom touches. Thinking black roof and wingless. I also want an air dam on the front, but I haven't seen any that look right on a Cobra. Any ideas?

with any car you invest a lot of money you need to have a insurance adjuster come out and appraise your car before hand....that will save a ton of headaches when they total your car out because NADA value is 2600 bucks

ABC front bumper. Only good front lip for a Cobra out there IMO even though its sold as a whole front cover now and not just a lip.

my car was 2k for front bumper, fender, headlights, and a piece of the hood.

That might be expensive as hell...wouldnt be suprised if it was over 3k if they have to replace those panels and then paint.

How funny is that, Scotty says ABC cobra bumper and then Justin posts and has a Cobra with it in the same color as my car! That, my friends, is Karma. Justin, can you post some more shots of your car? I'm really thinking of piutting on that front cover with a rear Whisper. The whisper looks a lot like Dalamars. I don't want the big, overdone body kits like the ricers, just understated smoothing of the lower lines.

I checked the link out for that whisper bumper. Looks like a saleen rip off and you can't really see it that well in the pic. I'd beware of it personally... I really want one of those front bumpers too... There are a few things I need for my car to be "complete". Well, that is for like 4 or 5 years until I get my commercial pilot's license and start making enough to tear the whole thing apart again lol. What I think would look perfect for a SN95 without costing too much is:

-Hood of your choice(I like the 96-98 Cobra hood)
-Stock sideskirts and rear(I've got a 1998 Cobra bumper out back waiting to go on)
-ABC Cobra front
-Lowered with some nice rims and fat tires out back
-S281 wing

Looks like you have the 96-98 Cobra hood from those pics...

Well there you have it. I highly doubt the fit and finish is near Cervinis quality either. Plus its a plain bumper with no lettering which sucks IMO.

No it's not. :rollinglaugh: The bumper does look cool though. It helps line the nose up with the sideskirts.

Oh come on, if that's not a sign from someone that I should buy that bumper, what is. At least I'm gonna try to convince my wife of that! I liked the Whisper bumper because it didnt have some big air diffuser of thirty seven slots across it or some other crap. Now if somebody will give me Dalamars address, I can just go get his. :thumb: SSSHHHH don't tell him.
