wow sold the supercharger huh... wouldn't have done that lol.

lol yea I kinda regret it now, but at the same time I'm glad I did or else I'd still be paying my x.

Being out of debt, especially with an ex, is much better than any material item.

plus, IIRC, she has some hair dryers to throw on that cobra :santa_afro:

^ u might want to clear up what u said.. looks like a bunch of jiberish

Ill take a stab at it:

I paid 12,999 from an Infinity dealership 4 years ago. I went there to buy a TT Supra but they sold it out from under me, so they gave me a good deal on it. It had 32k miles when I bought it and now has 70k miles. I'm thinking of selling it. I bought it stock but now it has full bolt ons, a built trans and an Eaton swap.

i'm just totally confused why some one would do that to a 97? thats like me pulling my gt motor and putting in a hopped up v6. no offense to you or anything, it just seems strange

You must be confused... the body is a V6... in other words, my insurance thinks it is a V6 but it has a V8... understand now?

... o i read a while back that it was a 97 cobra that had a 5.0 put in it. that seems like you mean that its a 97 "real" cobra with a 5.0 in it replacing the DOHC 4.6

Ahhh he said it was a '97 with a 5.0 Cobra engine, that's a decent swap up from a V6 and probably cheaper than a 4.6 motor. Nice car, looks good with the Cobra bumper and wheels.

lol thats true. Hellava swap. Only problem here is the obd 2 testing... plus the extra 2 cylenders is a no no on a v6 car.

Bought my 97 in 2000 for 19,000 with 2 sets of wheels, (17" cobra R's and 18" Blitz type 3's) bassani x-pipe, mac flow path mufflers, saleen springs, saleen sway bar, ripper shifter, 3:73 in it and a custom chip. Still have it and with 89,000 miles on it, it still runs strong.
