If I snatch this up, how easily can i recuperate my money?

Are the parts in demand?

Interior is very clean.
Body is straight.
Bone stock.
120k on dash.

I am currently already on a build. So what would you guys do?

Thank you ahead of time.

Yes you can. You can get probably atleast 700 for that interior. If the trans is good, you can get a nice amount, rear end too. IRS exhaust will get some $$. If you had a motor to swap in you could do that and just build it up. But if your just buying to part out/flip, you'll definitely make the 2k back.

If the body and interior is good, yes.

Personally, if the only issues is the engine I'd swap in a new motor. Probably get more money that way and it would be easier than parting it out.

But yes, cobra parts are valuable.

Yes/no.

That's a pretty good deal if it has a straight body, clean interior, good tranny, low milage.

However, It depends how much time you have on your hands. Since you're already building a car, you may be busy and it will take a while to get your money back for the cobra.
And if you plan on fixing it up, it will probably take you even longer.

It's up to you.

you've never flat out stated your intentions, but I assume this is another GRM car?.....................

it's a much better starting point than the other car, assuming it's decent apart from the motor. you might have trouble getting the motor back together with that budget. again, just say what it's for, and people may be able to help you quite a bit more.

Shouldn't be any issue parting the car out for $2000. Seats $600, IRS $400, and there's half of it already.

A complete "strip down and part out" on a 99/01 cobra would yield about $3000 to $4000 give or take, but that's if you sold every good piece individually. It would take some time and it would be up to you on whether the $1k to $2k profit (after your initial investment is taken into consideration) would be worth the hassle.

The interior is basically the same as the GT for the most part, which the major exceptions being the airbag cover, the speedo cluster, and the seats. The various interior trim pieces will get you a few hundred combined. The engine isn't worth much if it threw a rod but you could probably strip it down and sell the good parts and get a few hundred from things like the intake manifold, plenum lid, coolant reservoir, etc. You'll get a little for the ECU and wiring harnesses if you can remove them all in tact. The rest will be pretty hit and miss. It will be a matter of finding the right people at the right time who need things like: fenders, doors, trunk lid, hood, etc, etc.

These pieces will bring you the most $$$ and should sell pretty quick:
- Tail lights (if they're still OEM)
- IRS
- Wheels/Tires
- Seats
- Tranny
- Brake Components

This wasn't exactly related to the build. Just think deals are falling into my lap and was wondering what you guys would do.

Although, I guess these are my options:

A: Rebuild and Sell (most potential profit)
B: Strip, Rebuild and Race (better platform?)
C: Swap Cobra parts onto SN95 project and Sell the rest.(Easiest + Free Parts for my build!)

Any options i haven't thought of?

Appreciative,

And that's the dillemma. But, if i use it as a parts car or new platform, I should definitely be able to get back the 2k between the 2 of them huh?

500? Damn!
Also the rear bumpers are expensive as hell too. My buddy has been looking for some for his since it's cracked. Couldn't find one for under $600 so he's going to fix his.
