Yes I searched and I found some info but here is my question.

On 17x9 front's what tire sizes are you running and why. I heard 275 are pretty standard but don't fit very well and some people use 255's instead. For the rear 17x10.5 I know 315's are widely used but I also heard 275 and 295 work better and sit more flush? I would appreciate some pics and input on tire sizes before I buy a new set. I just want to know what my options are and what to expect with each set up. Feel free to recommend brands as well, I do not want drag radials and I am leaning towards the BFG KDW's Thanks! :eek:ccasion14:

i have 315 nitto 555(non drag radials) on the rear 10.5 inch wheels. the front 9 inch wheels have 245s.
the front two suck in some but remain the same height as the rear. if you go with a 255 the tires are shorter(25.1 inches). the factory size will be 25.7 inches or 25.6 inches tall( depending on what tire and manufacturer).
i do not like putting 275s on a 10.5 inch wheel. my friend bought a mustang that had that and they looked bad. the tires were sucked in alot. my 315s sit pretty flush.
bfg does not make any street tire in a 315. i wish they did. i am a huge bfg fan but they seem to be falling behind in the street scene.
it is raining here and my car is at my shop so i cant go take pictures right now.

I would love to see pics, especially of the 245's. I have 245 on my fronts now and it would be nice to transfer them, even if its just for the rest of the summer. Love your sig by the way, speaks the truth, stay safe

Onyx why do you suggest the 255's? Personal preference? Clearance?

I would run 275's, which I have on a couple cars, up front simply because a smaller tire up front with 315s in the rear allows the rear of the car to basically steer. To big of a tire out back with smaller fronts create a massive push when turning

Ive always ran a 17x10.5 with 315-35s out back and 17x9 with 245-45s in front. Seems that most do but to be honest when these are shot im going to be trying 275s up front. I just hope they clear with a 2 inch drop...

I use a 255 up front and it is pretty flush with the wheel. I think 245's on a 9 inch wheel suck in a lil' IMO. I run 315's out back on my 17x10.5 and they bulge very mildly. I get more inner tire rub never any outer. I think my car is funny.
