Picked these up today. Going to strip the paint and polish them. May need to clearance them for my roller rockers. Is anyone running cobra 1.7 with fox valve covers?

I’m not running fox covers.........actually I ain’t running anything right now....... but several others are. I do believe that’s what Ttocs is running on his.

I am running 1.6's with mine but I did shave down the baffle inside to make sure there was enough room as from what I read it was needed.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any pictures?

On a different note, project will be delayed for a few months now. Have to save for a cam or find a cheap low mileage used one (not likely lol)

pics of the bottom that I trimmed? No sorry it was not a photoworthy job since no one sees it but look on the bottom and where the baffle is mounted just try to trim it down as flat as possible

What are you calling cheap for a cam? Shelf cans are reasonably cheap and custom grinds aren’t much either. Luckily we only have to buy one cam so they are very easy to get.

Started porting my gt40 lower today. It’s going pretty well. Have a lot way to go yet, but there is something really mystical about knowing you’re creating power for free :D
