dont be surprised if they just put true duals. if its a balanced engine like they have been making all the v6's in the past, there's no reason to spend the extra money on a crossover pipe on (even) a base model car. cutting out the material to make a crossover and any extra labor/employees it may take to make that extra part in the assembly line would save hundreds of thousands to millions over the production of the model. And especially in a time like this, even with the performance going up, they're still going to find a way to give you the same car the cheapest way possible, obviously without trying to hinder the quality of the car (too much?).
