"we could bolt on a blower and make the same numbers"

So.... just to clearify:

4.6 2v = 215 hp.
5.0 = 215 hp.
4.6 + blower = 390 hp.
5.0 + blower = 390 hp.

ergo:
5.0 is better than 4.6 ?? lol.

Why are people still talking about gay 4.6 modulars?

Paul.

Let's talk about how my gay 4.6 modular motor makes more power and torque than the cayote motor in Paul's SN97

Can a 4.6 + blower handle 350+ stock bottom end.
Not just the cobra...

With race fuel, the non terminator bottom end can handle quite a bit of power. The key is to never let the engine detonate or spin it too high.

you bolted a blower on ur cobra if Paul did the same his car would make 600rwhp with ease ... So lets talk about that.

That 4.6 4V motor in my 2001 sports a pretty big Vortech T trim blower that can put out 26 pounds worth of boost. A Vortech T trim has been proven to help a 4V Cobra make pig power with ease.

This guy is running a T Trim at "only" 12.5 pounds of boost on a stock bottom end 2001 Cobra motor with stock heads, stock intake, stock ignition and the car easily puts down over 500HP at the tire.

By the way, there is no blower on Paul's car so as of now My Modular 4.6 out powers his coyote 5.0.

Cobraposer, bolting a Paxton on my car, with virtually zero other mods, puts me past 600 rwhp and 130 mph trap speeds. You want to keep talking about how awesome your crappy car and crappy motor is? Or are you still butthurt that your puny brakes don't measure up?

Post your timeslips.

Paul.

oh dear.

someone poked the bear and compared a modified one to a stock one.

and why the hell are we talking about pauls 5.0 ??? its not a pushrod based injin. this is a conversation about the modular power plants against the older pushrods that are powered by dinosaur bones and cavemen beards.

I wish our gas stations just had 93, let alone 110. :(

All we get here in Phoenix is crummy 91.

The stations around here offer race fuel that range from 100 to 115 octane typically.... just depends on where you go.

First off, it's 13 pounds of boost, not 12.5, second, he has a 50 shot of nitrous. All that effort to barely crack 500 rwhp.

And now...

5.0 Coyote + Boss Intake + Offroad X-pipe and muffler delete + Paxton at 12 psi = 713 rear wheel horsepower.

It must suck to have to live with a 4.6L shitbox.

Care to keep the comparison of your shitty 4.6L to the Coyote 5.0 going?

not to throw fuel to the fire, i have stroked 4.6 2v. even at my power level i don't boast power but rather efficiency. 4.6 loses in power and efficiency to a coyote. so i have nothing further to add. it doesn't take rocket science or trying to preach to the choir.
