so my buddy wanted to film a ride in my car, so we took it out for a bit. The loud whine you hear is the fuel pump (it's a weldon 1100 and was getting hot). and please excuse the gutted interior for the moment. it's getting revamped as we speak. enjoy and yes, I"m granny shifting.

TRUE, but your twin walbros don't support 1300rwhp. a little noise is not that bad when it's only at key on, and when the pump gets hot.

Why can't it? I see 1000rwhp 2v's all over youtube, what can't it break 1300rwhp? is that golden a number, or your saying the shortblock with whatever forged setup is not capable...

Well the YSI damn sure isnt gonna make 1300 rwhp on a 281 cu inch 2v, thats for sure......

Not that I care to argue but where do you even see these 1000 rwhp 2vs?

They probably arent even drivable on the street, have twin basketball sized turbos, and run 50 psi on race gas if they actually exist. lol

Theres nothing wrong with running that pump, just was surprised at how loud it was, then he came back at me saying my pumps cant handle 1300 rwhp which can be fixed by adding a third walbro anyway but is a mute point considering a 4.6 2v will probably never make 1300 rwhp.

Im perfectly content with my quiet pumps that support 1000 rwhp considering I will never need that amount of fuel.

You just started this "king shit" competition, not me. You came in here and started crap when we were having a normal conversation about fuel pumps and the realistic power a 2v could produce.

The only thing I ever said about the 4v is that there is no reason to upgrade if you can meet your power goals with a 2v....if I wanted to make more than 600 rwhp or so 4v would be the way to go.

The fact that 03/04 cobras are 4v is the least significant piece of information when deciding whether or not I want to buy one

I decided it was more unique to build my car and also wanted to be able to say I built the car with my own hands rather than just go buy an 03 cobra and be like any other tool that can go buy an 03 cobra.

Please direct me to where I have ever said "I am the king shit of sn95 forums" or better yet, please direct me to where I mentioned 1/4 mile times in this thread until you appeared and started rabbling?

Ive heard those pumps were loud, just never heard what they sound like before.

Just thought it was funny that he mentioned they could handle 1300 rwhp when Im not sure a 4.6l 2v has ever made that much power. lol

what I meant by my original comment about 1300rwhp btw was that my pump is a very large external pump- meaning that it will be louder than in tank pumps and also subjected to heat from the road. that's all. good lord, I step away for a couple hours and this thread kinda went to hell.

Yep, I can imagine its large.

My pumps are external as well. I run the glenns performance "1000 hp kit"

its just two walbro gsl 392s but they are claimed to flow 300 lph each with their fittings.

I hear them prime when I turn the key, other than that they are not very loud, of course I have my rear seat in so that soaks up a lot of that noise.
