94 GT 5speed with stock T5

I have a 94 gt coupe that has over 200k on the clock and is still chuggin along nicely. my transmission however whines from the throwout bearing on the bent shaft and its driving me nuts and the car rides rough, its just tired. iv been looking into swapping it and i found a few nice deals on t5's from 89-93 fox's. if im correct that tranny will bolt up fine as long as i get a fox bellhousing correct? i know the sn95 platform had a longer input shaft for the shifter position

Yep the fox T-5 should work, the shifters position is just gonna sit a lil different in the car. You'll need a 5/8 inch spacer for the driveshaft. And also the fox clutch fork with the bell housing.

OR... you can swap the input shaft and input shaft bearing retainer from your transmission onto the fox transmission... and just bolt it in like it was stock
