94 gt slower than it should be?

if my tranny was slipping wouldnt the rpm's jump up my car is a total dog down low want jump up for nothin even if i put it in first and stand on it its a slow climber till about 3k

Have you ever had your car run on a dyno to see what its putting out? Also I see nothing about you having a stall in your car, if you dint have one it sure would help you out...............BIG TIME. Your times of low 15's do seem a little slow to me, especially for you having the mods you do. I would get the car on a dyno and do a compression test too (hey it wont hurt to check it) and go from there.

first run was 170rwhp and 220 ft.lb was running really lean fuel pressure was 15! bumped it up to 40 got 180 rwhp 250 ft.lb. .Found out it had an old shitty hypertech chip in it and pulled that and bumped timing up got 198rwhp and 251ft.lb.

Now we are cooking. timing and tuning have alot to do with your problems ESPECIALLY if your not spinning those tires with 4.10 your asshole should be puckered at full WOT from a stop. ARe you sure you have 4.10's? if so check your fuel line and filter. if that filter hasnt been replaced thats a HUGE problem. also get some seafoam clean that sucker out.

your power is where it should be now, do some normal maintance like this and get to the track and lay down some numbers.

AODE cars are just slow. with a typhoon intake, CAI, 75mm TB, 75mm MAF, 1.7 RR, e303 cam, full exhuast, 4.10's, shift kit and a set of ET Drags i stil couldnt get better than a 15.1 @ 94mph with a 2.3 60 foot.

And as far as weight goes 100lbs = 1 tenth in the 1/4

wtf, with just 4.10s, a cai, shorty headers, and a catback I ran a 14.5@94 with no traction in first (38psi in toyo proxies). My 60' was a 2.0. If my car would shift faster and with a set of nittos of bfg dr's I would have been low 14s w/ the gears.

unfortuantly i still cant spin the tires, car feels bout the same idk wut to do now ne suggestions... id like to have an sct tune wont get me much if ne power but im thinkin itll help the shifts out ...car is shifting outa first at 4900rpm's

You have to manually shift it when you drag, the aode tranny is retarded on its own in drive. I shift at 5,000-5,200 and by the time i'm at 5,400-5,550 its in the next gear. Thats how I pulled off the 14.5. With the shift kit you have you can probably shift it at 5,400-5,600 as there's probably no delay. O/d was off when you were racing right?

See when I had my auto it had the SCT tune on it to shift it properly, shifted around 5600-5800, could pull 13.8s out of my ass all day long on some 18s with street tires hehe.

you made no mention of a tq converter so I guess you did not have one...........if you did you could have taken a half second off your et with a properly matched converter for your combo, your 15.1 could have been a 14.6 or so. Not trying to be argumentative just making a point, but I do agree if your automatic is not set up right.......they are SLOW.

well i have a 4r70w(97 gt) but it shouldnt be much different, but if ur shifting at 4900 rpms thats ur problem!! i take the od off and let it shift by itself with my foot to the ground and it shifts at 5700-5900. i do have gears though if that messes with anything??

With my 4.10s mine like to hit the revlimiter before it shifts. Thats why I manually shift it.
