Congratulations man! And that rust looks pretty scary but other than that the car looks pretty clean, good luck with the build!

Just going to throw this out there. This is my build thread.. but I think I'm going to throw eleanor out there to see if she's wanted by anyone else. If I end up selling her cool but if not that's cool too. So the cobra on this thread is for sale. Any questing just hit me up. Ask what you think it's worth. Thank you

Tiny little update. People amaze me in the knowledge they do not have about cars in general. Let alone our cars. With that said. Eleanor is staying with me indefinitely. Right now I am going for the really hard to come by parts for my restoration. I have a like new radio and cd player coming next week to put in the car. My next two items are the under hood fuse box cover and the radiator cover with the headlight flaps (preferably still attached) I know that's rare. I will update with photos.

I hear you about how little people seem to know about these cars. Even people who have these cars seem to not know much about them. How is it still a secret that 315's fit in the back? It's a Mustang, a twenty year old one, at that. And you will still find people who don't believe you that you can stuff a 10.5" wide rim and 315's without spacers. How is stuff like that not common knowledge, or just "the thing" after 20 years?

For the most part it's the high school early college kids looking for a fast car. They don't know or care. Its a culture like every other car. Noobs lol

Well got the radio today. Apparently shipping it in a box hardly bigger than the radio itself Seemed appropriate. The face of the radio was broken in 5 places. May have to try local junk yards when the weather breaks.

Just have an update on the car. Just recently put in a new msd cap and rotor. New iridium plugs and new coil. Still runs like rich poo. Next is testing the maf to see if it's bad. Little by little it's getting done. Oh and I got the pre bent rear hardline brake lines from latemodelrestoration.com. hopefully get thoes on this weekend.

Glad to see you kept it!

Mine got pushed to the back for 4 years while the wife popped out 2 kids :)

The time and money it takes having little ones doesn't leave much of anything for the project cars but after a while you find the time and money again.

I'm glad I did too! Every day I thought about selling it and I would open the garage and see her.... just couldnt do it. Lol. Yeah my wife's due in little under 4 weeks. We have a system for cat money to roll in every month. Let's see if that stays!
