96 GT Clogged Cat.

I really should have done my research on my dream car lol
Bought it a few months ago without cats, Got a buddy to weld two used guys in so I could pass emissions. Now one cat is glowing red? Assuming it's clogged.
Should I just cut the cats out until I can get a catless h/x pipe with the MIL Eliminators?

Are your emissions full test or visual? If just visual then gut the cat.

I believe visual, They pull it in look for check engine light but they don't put it on the sniffer
