Scotts car is soooo much more tasteful than that. However, I actually think the knight rider light is cool ;p

lol maybe that was a little far but i think the brake vents, hood vents, side exhaust holes is far too much. If anything just keep it with the mustang in the grille. the other is just way too much going on imo

I think its sick, but I like accent lighting. I've had a similar idea to put a lit pony on a speaker box for some time, and run the power wire to the speakers power so it would light up in conjunction with the music. Let me know if that would work or not haha!

Sure it can be done. The pony was not hard to do at all its something anyone here can do honestly. All ya do is take the horse off the mounting bracket(tamper proof t15 bits) and then wrap some tap around the outside edge. Now hold it in place and trace it with a sharpie. The thicker the sharpie the more plexi that will show. Now take a jig-saw or dremel and rough-cut the plexi to the OUTSIDE of the sharpie line. Next use a dremmel to get closer, finally a file to clean it all up till your edge is flush with the start of the marker line. Just peel the protective plastic off the plexi and you have your shape. Drill some holes in the middle to mount your leds, and I just happened to see a product in vatozones blingy light area that would make the lights flash to the music.

Thats funny but I was expecting someone to say something like that. 3 leds on each side and one in the middle suddenly turns my car into that?! You opinion isn't as important since you would not be able to see them over your hood :)

Hey you wanted opinions so i gave it =p But like I said, if you're gonna do it, keep it at the front emblem. It brings attention to the emblem. The others bring attention to pointless aspects of the car, like hood vents or brake vents. Which i see as just lights.

I have to say this is borderline. If i saw an import in a parking lot with all the vents and stuff lit up I'd probably say look at that ricer. The horse is kind of a cool touch but I think that's where the lights should end. All the lights in the vents and stuff, not necessary.
agreed

If I was to change it, I'd have them on the side exhaust and not in the hood or side vents, but I don't mind those either. But as you said, your side exhaust is probably looked over quite often.

ugh I looked at it again and it just seems so tacky, like what high school kids would do to their cars because it's all they could afford. Imo if you want to add accent lights put them in helpful places like under the door handles or do the puddle lights under the mirrors or something, all these vents don't need lights behind them. Or even put an LED in each corner lens and backup light or something, that would look cool when parked. But this whole lights behind the vents thing, not feelin it man.

Pointless aspects? While they are not functional in their original use I think the design accents they add are an important part of the sn95 style. I think the car would look wierd with out the brake vents and have always like the ones in the hood as well and think it just looks like its missing something with out them.

But the more I look at them the more I like em and already started to design a mount for the leds in the exhaust opening to help direct heat away from them. I would call it rice if I was like every other import out there with a seven color under-body led kit but adding 3 leds to the vents imo just highlights them.

This post make me chuckle a little as that could not be any further from rice to add puddle lights, lights behind my door handles In the door handles? If its rice to highlight the vents then I will certainly go that way rather then under the door handles and puddle lights...... Puddle lights and door handle lights just remind me of something on a lincoln, maybe I should add the combination door lock on the outside as well? . Why the hell would I want to accentuate/highlight my door handle and not the side exhaust or the other vents I just don't understant this at all?

And adding lights to the corners now that seems ricer to me, throw some stropes in as well and it would be ready for the drift circuit imo.

So honestly I am not offended by anyone not liking it I just thinks its humorous 6 of this and half dozen of the other are not equal. Has anyone seen any lights like this in vents? All the shows I have been too I have never seen it before myself in any car rice or lincoln...

puddle lights come stock on a lot of nice cars so I wouldn't consider that rice. And lighting up a door handle so you can see it in the dark, how is that any worse than lighting up side scoops that aren't functional? I've seen scoops and vents lit up, it's never looked good to me. it looks cheesy. It's a little humorous you'd rip on strobe lights but not on lighting up all the vents and side pipes on your car. exhaust doesn't need a light on it any more than anything else, are you really worried that people can't see your side exhaust at night? But adding lights where lights belong, yeah that's ricey lol
