This car, much to the dismay of my friends, is not mine. It belongs to my neighbor... he approached me to have some life put back into this piece of machinery. She's seen a rough life and was retired a couple of years ago. Luckily I have the skills and OCD to get this pony galloping again.

This car is absolutely stock, and since it's not by build, it shall unfortunately remain stock. :embarrassed:

Let's start with the short list. I've been given free reign to fix anything as I go.

- Odometer gear broken
- All windows inop
- Convertible top inop
- Convertible top to be replaced
- Replace/repair rear bumper cover
- Check bushings in front end, clunk while turning
- Repaint select body panels
- Full wetsand/paint correction

Little things seem to pop up as I go... kinda makes things fun.

Everybody tells me I can buy the bushings in the help section at the parts store. Can't find squat. The folk behind the counter know nothing of these bushings either.

A few of the parts I ordered are from MPS. I thought it was funny how the rear bumper reflector came - they just chopped a chunk out of the bumper and shipped it to me!

Can't get anything from the top motor. Judging by the fluid under the rear seat, I'm going to have to replace the lines. Can anybody tell me if there are relays I should be checking related to the motor?

The current state of the rest of the interior:

Wow you've got your hands full. Cool that the owner wants it restored though to make it nice again. Can't wait to see more progress.

Replace these bushings with 1/4" nuts. They fit perfect, and work just as well. Already did it to my F150 and Mustang. Works great!

Edit, Looks like a fun project! Keep us updated....
