I'm building a 96 Cobra to race in CAM and was wondering if anybody else here had. I've been autocrossing for 10 years, starting with an RX-7, then a Miata, then a Porsche 944, then a Porsche 914, then a 73 AMC Javelin, and now the Cobra. I had the Javelin in CAM, but it was awful and worse to drive to the events.
So far I've put on the Eibach Pro Street coilover kit, Eibach F&R sway bars, QA1 tubular front LCA"s, Steeda bumpsteer kit, Gripp C/C plates, and some FR500's (17x9 and 17x10.5) with Nitto NT05's (275/40/17 and 315/35/17). It has some power mods, too (BBK LT's, catless mids, x-pipe, Flowmaster 40's with dumps, BBK CAI, MSD coils, BBK underdrive pulleys) and an MGW shifter and Luk clutch with a fresh T45. Rear gears are stock.
