Im deffinitly lookin into getting an o/r x pipe but dont really want to spend any more then 200$ so because of the price i was lookin at pypes o/r x pipe...it has gotten good feedback on americanmuscle.com and sounds pretty good on youtube videos. should i go for it??? If not what other o/r x pipes out there are pretty cheap but good quality and sound. Any other good websites to look for exhaust???

I ordered a UPR x pipe, it was actually a pypes x pipe. It fits like complete garbage. To this day I need to get the exhaust guy to fix it. UPR may be the good ones but pypes are TERRIBLE

I have had a Pypes o/r x on my car for close to a year now and now problems, sounds great and didn't break the bank. Definitely would recommend, and for the price its like why not. I did however have a local exhaust shop put it on, but they had no problems with fitment.

i had the x and cat back for my fox with summit chrome headers(bbk i think?) and i had a hell of a time getting it to fit. the area where the pipes slip into each other had to be expanded so they would fit and even after that the whole system seemed to be too long. the x pipe also did not come with hangers so i didnt like that. the overall quality seemed good as far as flanges and welds and mufflers. but like i said the fit left me not liking the product. it could be that i installed it wrong but it definitly would rub on the axle tube and would dip in the center due to not having the hangers welded in place. i also got mine through american muscle and i had no problems with them. they shipped super quick too. hope that helps.

It's cheap, therefore quality is hit or miss.

However, IMO, as far as fitment goes, if you can bolt it to the car with hand tools, and it doesn't leak, it fits. I think some people have a hard time with the install and call it fitment, since it didn't just fall on the car while they were doing the hokey pokey.

i put a pypes full exhaust on a friends car a while back. (long tubes, orh, violator catback.. and the only problem i had was the tails that came in the violator kit didnt clear the tire on the drivers side (315/35s)

on another note i put their violator axlebacks on my dads 06gt and they rusted all the way threw on both sides in less then three months..

like jr said, hit and miss

I can't speak for any of their mid pipes or headers, but I put their Hi-flow cats in my car and they look/perform good.

i just got myn on today and it fit good and sounds sweet i dont like the fact thier is no hanger on them so ill probly get that welded on by a muffler shop so i wont have to worry about it draging ground. other than that the welds are great and i like how the moved the 1st passanger side o2 sensore down a bit that will make things easyer when putting in a new clutch on my car. over all im happy with my purchase.
