Just wanted to share... today was my bday, I'm an old fart at 22 yrs old :drunk:. Anyways, my pops surprised me and got me an sn95 t-shirt (kocky products) and a HO fibertrends cobra r hood. I'm pretty stoaked, the car is going to look like a beast come spring time.

here's a run down the the plans this winter... hood of course, finish up my decklid (wingless and shaved), window tint (nothing too major), some new headlights (cobra headlights), and well, that's pretty much it... other than any performance mods that I will have time and money for. I'm def thinking a cam and gears, but not sure on anything else.

anyways, like I said, just wanted to share with y'all.

what are your rear rim and tire sizes? And you're on H and R supersports right?

Trey you forgot to take off the wing! :p

that rolling shot is hot.

happy bday man, nice score on the good parts wish my parents knew what I wanted like that or would buy/find it for me lol. thats sweet cars gonna look wicked. I think ill like it wingless with those wheels. Why new headlights, I think anything dark/tinted/black looks awesome on yellow cars the more black the merrier I love it when the rear licenceplate section is black.

haha, thanks alot guys... i'm a bit of a photoshop guru myself so I've chopped on a cowl hood a couple times just to see what it will look like. I even wanted a cobra r hood back when I had the sixer... it's just a mean looking hood.

I will def post up some pics, in fact when I get the chance I'll post up some pictures of the progress of the paint and anything I do to the car over the winter.

txcobra my name is Clay, and I know what you mean about real names its just nice to be able to refer to someone by their name rather than an alias. most peeps know me as thorco though so I don't have a problem with it.

and matt I bought the headlights off of verttiresmoke, they are in pretty rough shape. I've already restored one of them to look like new, but applied a little too much pressure on the buffing wheel and caused a burn mark that will have to be sanded back out. I've got tons of pictures of the restoration if anyone cares to see them. I've just always liked cobra headlights, but I will be keeping the smoked ones as well so I can swap them out at anytime for a little different look.

oh and my pops is into car shows just as much as I am so I'm pretty sure that's why he decided to get me something like a hood. He's been working on a 36 plymouth street rod for the past 5-6 yrs or so... he's all bowtie though, so I'm sort of the black sheep of the family... :dunno:
