Well after a nice 5 week vacation down in Tampa it was time to get back to reality and let me tell ya 10* temps surely put the reality smacking on me in a hurry lol. So what better way to get out of the cold than to lock myself in the shop and start banging away on the stang. Started by throwing in the front suspension, still waiting on a max motorsports order to come in so I can finish it off. Until then I am going to work on getting the mini tubs in, hopefully be done with that project by the end of the weekend. Anyway heres whats going on up front.

Team Z k member and arms? They make nice shit for sure! No problems lining up or anything right? I'm going to be adding one soon when I do my longtubes and havent made up my mind on what brand to go with.

Good luck getting it done in the cold! I hate working on shit in the winter.

Yup Went with there new auto X stuff and couldnt be happier. Top quality and perfect fit, couldnt get any better. As far as the cold goes.... I wont be leaving the 70* temps of my shop until the weather breaks lol. Would never attempt working on anything outside or in a non heated garage during the middle of a new england winter.

So is the K-member the same as the strip one just different A-arms for auto x? I have the Z k-member, arms, and coilover combo on my car as well, I'm hoping it's just the arms and I can get those as well.

Can't wait to see this car finished in person! I don't even know if my car will be ready for Carlisle this year, I got a really late start. On the plus side I do have a line on a trailer for Mustang Week (my wife's uncle has one he will lend me) but finding a truck will be the hard part. I have a friend with a powerstroke but I don't see him tossing me the keys to his $60k truck for a 17 hour round trip lol.

You come to tampa and don't say "hey it's just a short drive to meet my favorite moderator"

I'm ashamed =/

Glad to see some work done on the beauty though :)

Looks good. Did you bondo your frame rails to get them that smooth?

The frame raiks were wrapped with sheet metal welded then finished. No bondo that crap is garbage.

Dan Rent a truck if need be lol. Charlie was nice enough to lone me his trailer for the week so the opal will make the trip down snuggled inside.

Ivan there auto-x line up is completely different from there strip stuff so to answer your question yes the kmembers arent the same. I dont see a problem running these a-arms with the kmember you have. JFYI they also came out with a streetbeast line up.

Ryan I already told Tom Im not going to carlisle this year. At this point I only have a shell so building this entire car in what time is left before MW will be quite a feet in itself. Besides Ive already taken home hardware twice from carlisle, this year is all about MW nothing else matters at this point besides finishing this car once and for all.

Managed to get this stuff on the car over the weekend along with some other small projects. Still a long road to haul but atleast the front suspension is back together. Now I just need to wrap up some welding on the tubs and I can start to throw the rear back together.
