Kurgan sent me a base tune via UPS just to get the car running and mobile. Well I drove it for like 2 or 3 days and I had the wastegate hooked up wrong. 23+ psi blew the stock head gasket on the #4 cylinder. Time for a new motor:

BTW, heres more info on the buildup:

http://corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=838784

Just had the car dyno tuned again after all the work I've done to it this summer. Here were the results:

Boost falls off above 4500, will figure that out next year. Happy with it for the work that has gone into it and now its time to enjoy some end of season racing!

Thanks again to Bob Kurgan for all the help!

i believe it is ...and i think they are called street bars.... i know they also have the swing outs....i believe most bolt in kits have the desired door bars

I'm not sure if it is, because it is a bolt in setup. The rears are welded to the floor just because I couldn't bolt them in. It is a Kenny Brown Super Street Cage. They haven't been produced for a while. If the entire bar was welded in, I might have a chance at being legal. The tracks around my house really dont seem to car unless you are running in the single digits.

My personal best is a high 11 pass with missing the 2-3 shift and a 1.8 60'. I'm going out this Sunday to take one last stab at making a good pass for the season. This car does, daily street driving, road race, and drag race. I built it to do it all. One day, the bugs will all be worked out LOL

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR ALL THE COMPLIMENTS!!!! The car is still a work in progress with a single 3.5" exhaust, coil overs with MM tubular k-member, and a change from the 3.50 gear to a 3.25 gear for next year. Also gonna fab up a different air inlet pipe that will give me room to run a larger filter and help that turbo inhale a little easier.
