Glad to hear someone came up with a great solution to upgrade the poor at best sn95 brakes without breaking the bank. You should have plenty of good used take offs to source for years to come.

Okay, I'm not a brake expert especially with s197.

What is the difference between s197 v6 and gt calipers? Single vs dual?
I'm assuming v6 s197 would still be a nice upgrade from my sn95 v6 calipers?

Then I get the 14" rotors?
and sn95 cobra lines?

and bam, economical brake upgrade?
the V6 uses the same caliper but a smaller rotor.

I found a great deal on 06 gt calipers, rotors, pads. This kit is all I need to get these brakes to work other than the hoses right? I plan on running the gt rotors until I can upgrade to larger rims

You'll need the hoses, but also the rotors need to be the 14" from a GT500. GT rotors will not work.

On the low end, they can be had for about $40 on summit. 06 gt calipers and pads will work.

When I get back to my laptop I'll post a link to the example rotor

I'm switching out my 13" Cobra brakes for this set up. Will my Cobra brake lines fit the s197 calipers?

I'm just going to quote Brett's text to me instead of relaying the info.
"brake lines will work, banjo bolts may not as the throughout 94-04 ford was inconsistent with the thread pitch of the banjo bolts (fine vs. coarse). they'd safe bet is getting s197 banjo bolts"

Have you guys thought of offering these kits to a company like American Muscle or LMR? I bet they would sell like hotcakes.

Not as of right now. Sites like you mentioned want to mark up the retail cost 3x so we would have to raise the price, which we don't want to do to our customers

Good price for this Kit!
I spent a little over $400 for everything needed. I know you can even do it cheaper.

Wow that's great, I think we originally had it priced out at $500-600 minimum, impressed you did it all for $400.
