Cam Advice

Plan on these mods: Gonna be my DD not a track car
3.73s- CAI, full exhaust, 76mm maf, ud pulleys, 70 mm tb, ratchet shifter, trickflow upper and lower intake, and some suspension stuff. What cam can I run without upgrading the valve springs or roller rockers? I forgot if theres a ford racing one like that. Ill probably do a hi stall tq converter too.

Honestly I'd keep the stock cam, it's not worth changing at this time.

i think i'd have to agree with onyx.....i'd hold off on the cam till you get a little more done to it and are ready to match it to upgraded heads

Like the boys said the labour involved with a cam swap ur better off getting some gears you'll notice that alot more

For future reference though, go with a custom grind. It will be better than any off the shelf cam you can buy and for around the same price. Also, some roller rockers wouldn't be a bad mod at all and you can get them in the stock ratio so you don't have to deal with the headache of doing the math.

@Musturd- Thanks for the input, I'm definately doing gears once the spring comes
@97FloridaGT- Where's a good place to get a custom cam made to my specs when the time comes and I have a bunch of mods done? I believe my stock 95 has 1.6 Roller Rockers, so I would just get new ones right?

Only cobras came with roller rockers stock. Ed Curtis makes wicked cams. Alot of the time I call up comp directly and give them exact specs they can make you a custom cam to or even find you something that will work great for ur combo.
