Long story short i was putting my turbo kit on and a bracket got caught in the ccrm connector and the pipe hit the block and it sparked. ( ccrm was out of car just caught a postive in the connector) and now my car just cranks and wont start.

Hers what i did. im not the best with electrical so please be easy lol.
did all these with key on

--with a test light i checked power to the ccrm the red and green striped wire and it had 12v

--took the tfi to autozone and had it tested and it checked out ( tested it 2 different stores and both say it was good)

--replaced coil ( warranty ) and 12v is going to this as well

--theres also 12v going to tfi switch

--Checked all underhood fuses in box and all good and checked interior ones and all good

--swapped out ecus with my stock 100% working one

--tested pin 37 for power on the ecu and got nothing no power going to ecu and also tested power going to the red

--wire on injectors and got no power going there either.

--tried doing the check engine light test to see if pump would kick on like it always did when i did this test and no luck didn't turn on.

--check the fuel pump switch in trunk near tail light and tried jumping it and still nothing.

--checked all grounds and all look good.

Car ran 100% fine when parked 3 days ago and since that spark wont start now just cranks . The tach dont move also when cranking .

At this point im clueless what to do next. i got to get this car running its just been one thing after another so any help would be great. Sorry if some of this dont make sense im trying to write it quick before bed in case i can get some answers before i wake up

Cars and 95 5.0 5 speed if that matters. also i was looking for the eec power relay from what i was seeing it was above the ecu but i cant find it a all.

did you check for power at the inertia switch in the trunk?

Also when you said you looked at the grounds and they looked good? I would start simple and there by removing the grounds, cleaning/sanding the areas under them and then retightening them down. This way you can unsure they are good as otherwise you can look at a ground that looks perfectly fine but there could be a build up of corrosion between them that you can't see until its removed .

This shit can be a pain but you're gonna need to track the wires and find out where the disconnect is.

Check the inertia switch in the trunk first...check for power there and make sure its pushed in.

I believe the relay for the pump is actually located in the EEC.

Did you check all your fuses?

I know there is a fuse under there that can pop and cause this issue if you have a short....I had it happen to me once lol.

scary, we agree again.... Check ALL your fuses and by all of them I mean literally pull and check every fuse both under the dash and under the hood.

Just for shits and giggles test the inertia switch for voltage while the motor is cranking.

Like Justin said, check fuses 1st.

My car with the CCRM disconnected does the exact same thing. I wouldn't think yours is fried if it wasn't connected, but do you have a spare CCRM to check?

Also check where the connector shorted, enough current will blast a hole or melt metal. Maybe the connector is screwed up and is not making contact to where it should.

Yea, I think I meant the CCRM has the relay, its that box thing in the passenger side front fender lol.

Def. pull all those fuses and check the intertia first.

pretty sure there are fusable links in a couple of the power wires.

So you have power everywhere you are supposed too but the pump still isn't moving - sounds like you might need to drop the tank and test the pump or replace it.

I see, you put the CCRM back in the car obviously right? lol

Like I said before, you're gonna need to trace those wired from power to the pump and find out where the power is stopping.

Im pretty sure the power goes into the CCRM then to the inertia switch then to the pump....

If you have power going INTO the CCRM but not OUT of the CCRM with the ignition on that means the relay is bad on the CCRM I believe?

Im no electrics expert though

ok i can check that. yea its back in the car lol i have actually forgot that thing like 3 times before . have any clue off the top of your head what wire sends the power out ? if i just test it at the switch in rear and it has power that just means its coming out the ccrm right ?

Yes, if you have power going into the intertia switch that means its coming out of the CCRM.

I really have no idea what wire is what lol

you can probably look at the wire colors that go to the inertia switch and assume that they will be the same color up front. That is not always the case so don't think its the law and guaranteed but generally they keep the same color. Where is someone to link to one of those pages with all the schematics? Need the pin-out of the CCRM if anyone knows where the wire color codes are.

yes if it pops out then its been tripped and you will feel it click when you push it.

I am looking at CCRM schematics on an image search on bing and the 93 mustang GT lists a fusable link inside of the CCRM,

I can't link to the pic for some reason, its the image all the way on the right on top listed as 93 mustang Gt CCRM schematic.

If you saw sparks from there I would probably say to take it out, take the cover off and see what ya see. Fusable links normally are easy to spot when the are smoked.
