Cobra or TFS intake

huh, the car in my sig runs a TFS street heat. Must be a fluke?

agreed I have ran my stock untouched street heat version and my new ported track heat version and it runs like a raped ape and I make hell of alot more power then most guys do with other setups.

I think the untuned may have more to do with the change in ets, or even weather. I've got a track heat on mine, it pulls well above and much harder than what the edelbrock rpm did.

TFS intakes are more suited for a HCI setup than a near stock setup, GT40 intake is the way to go for a near stock setup for sure. Both are good intakes and the TFS flows better but would not be a wise choice for the OP unless he plans on changing his setup in the future in that case it would leave him room to grow otherwise GT40 for sure. Also I think the Cobra intake is sexier. :la: NX coupe your car is a beast!

maybe.. i dono.. also on my buddys 94 cobra with a 347, and lots of other goodies all matched up, he only made 360 hp to the tire but 398 tq... i dono, just my experience with them hasnt been good..

but imo the cobra would be a better setup for his application..

i have a trick-flow intake on mine. but i also have the heads and the cam. but not a stock motor.
