So, i got off the phone with my local mustang specialty speed shop, they quoted me $650 for a set of 4.10 gears with everything needed and installed. I think this is a very fair price and hopefully withing the next few weeks i can take them up on that! What do yall think??

Alright, even though this thread isn't getting much attention, i still feel obliged to update y'all on my progress.

I installed my J&M lower control arms, led 3rd brake light, and OE taillights today.
Everything was a breeze and i didn't really have any problems with the lower control arms, my real problem is when it came down to the LED 3rd brake light... I have read horror stories of them not working, not fitting and requiring soldering.. I am here to tell yall that is NOT the case, all that was needed to be done to get them to work was take a large flat head screw driver and put it in the stock wiring harness and twist it back and forth slightly, all with it disconnected of course.. Press each LED plug into the harness firmly and they should snap in.

LCA impressions: i feel like it keeps the tail and of the car from wandering, especially with the 315's in the rear, over all well worth the cost of admission.

MY TWO BEST MODS TO DATE::

-Frpp 3.73 gears

I dont really have alot of pictures of this, I had a shop put them in, strictly performance in pearland tx, but honestly after watching them do it i will be doing it on my own next time!

Gear impressions: acceleration is alot better. thats about all i can say. it gets up and goessssss.

-Cobra big brake kit and bear eradispeed 2 piece rotors!
got an amazing deal of ebay, calipers, pads (70% life) and bear eradispeed 2 piece rotors (these alone cost $500), I got the whole package for $470 shipped!!

Tiny stock rotors, with cheap parts store pads and badly grooved rotors

While i was at it i bleed all the brakes and put fresh dot 3 in it, thought it would be a good idea to get all the old fluid through the old calipers.

new rotors and old

decided to do something unique and do white calipers with black cobra letters, my car is white so it looks awesome!

Brake impressions: By far the best mod i have done, the pedal is very stiff and they brake really hard. Pus the look sexy, they fill up my whole wheel!!

Im surprised you're build up hasn't gotten much attention. I think all of the mods you've done are very nice and clearly putting your car up over alot of other mustangs out there. Keep the updates coming I like where you're going with this car!

UPDATE

So I got home from vacation this morning at 5 am and walk in to my house and am greeted by this:
2012-08-16_04-23-39_919.jpg

Couldnt resit so i opened it up.

First impressions DANG the front sway bar is THICK, the back is also quite a bit larger. Also the red finish is perfect, not to bright and flashhyyy.

Install was a breeze took about an hour.

The old stock one:

(i know my mufflers are aligned like sh*t, but thats the best i can do without it rattling, MAC has crappy fitment btw..)

Front:

Installed impressions: Seriously the best suspension mod i have done so far. I think it works really well in conjunction with all my other suspension stuff (j&m lca, mm cc plates, tokico shocks and struts and frpp c springs) and has SERIOUSLY reduced body roll. It really does feel like a new car. BUT If youre working on upgrading your suspension, this should be one of the last things you do.

On a side note: the way my j&m lcas position the rear sway bar you can see it while you are drving behind me. So now i have pretty red one.

Also, the hardware included is all crap, go buy new bolts for the rear.

Thankyou! I got a steal on the cobra front brakes ($460 shipped, the rotors alone new cost +$400). I guess its how the new lcas position the sway bar. But its definitely cool. Something only someone who was looking would notice.

Some pictures of mine and a buddy of mines car.
This is before the new sway bars, but you can still see them in the rear on both cars ( we have the same lcas). Just kinda hard to see since they are painted black

Great job so far! The first mustang I ever drove was a white 2000 GT, so your car actually brings back a lot of memories for me. I borrowed it from my sister's BF at the time to drive to my senior prom. I don't even remember my date's name but I do remember how much I loved driving that car, it started the sickness that led me to where I am now lol. It was bone stock but it was straight up badass to me at the time.

Keep up the good work, I am super jealous of those 2 piece rotors!
