Question #1-I have new pistons, but no pistons rings. The block is .030 over, pistons are .030 over pistons, how do I figure out what size piston rings I need, and are there good brands and bad brands?

Question #2-Has anybody here done a e85 carb build? I'm really thinking about going to e85 for the performance benefits and the fact that it's at the pump and cheap

Any help is great, thanks

Ok, now what about e85 through a carb? Do I need to swap over gaskets, floats, jets, etc?

Call up csu, http://csucarbs.com/ and grill them. A buddy and I set up one of their e85 blow thru carbs, and it worked perfectly after a few minor tweaks. They can set you on the right path. Kevin over there is a genius with carbs.

But yes, everything needs to be roughly 30% bigger, jets, fuel line, fuel pump. Efc. Your basically building an alcohol carb. The floats need to be changed too.

One thought, are you going nitrous or boost? High compression? (12.1 or higher?)
