cut out for cats

Living in texass we have emissions so i wanted to know if anybody has this done to there car i was thinking about having cut outs for cats so when i have to have it tested i can just put them on then go test.Then come home and take them off.I have a guy that well do them for me but would this be a problem with anything or well it be alright

As long as they seal right when reinstalled you will be fine

SLP used to offer "test tubes" on their catted X-pipe kits to do exactly this

Hope you aren't planning to do this on a factory pipe though since bypassing 4-6 cats will take more time then swappign the entire mid-pipe

I live in between Gainesville & Wichita Falls, in Texas. I live in a tiny town, so the cops don't really care. I had my front 2 cats gutted & the back 2 just taken away. I can get by this way, though.
