I came across some money and am building up the 98 finally. I posted some pics of my car while back but am going a little different direction. I sold the old rims and just got my new ones in the mail. I am just stoked that I can have a build thread (not dalamar status though... sorry :crying: ) I will stop talkin and get the pics started.

Here is where I am starting:

The saleen wing fits really good (got it from mustangsunlimited)

And the parts list (so far)
Cobra control arms

Sumitomos

Cobra Brake kit

PI Swap (acquiring parts)
IMG_1193.jpg

New wheels getting installed tomorrow (keeping it "secret" til I get the installed because its against the grain a little bit)

King Cobra Clutch

And my dad is in the middle of a lot of construction at his house right now which is why these parts are still in boxes in the garage:

I already have a bumper ordered and will pick that up on thursday and am picking up a new hood within the next month or so. I am building a tasteful car (IMO) but it will be fairly unique. Hope to keep everybody's interest and will keep this page updated as often as I can. Thanks for looking.

I like it a lot too... which is the reason it is staying like that. Haven't had time to do much of anything with work and school lately. I am going to install the brakes and all the suspension stuff (cobra control arms, MM C/C plates, and MM aluminum steering rack bushings). I will also take the car to his shop to have the clutch installed and flywheel resurfaced.

A little update... I had a saleen bumper ordered and was going to go pick up a 3" Cobra R 2000 hood, but am taking a different route. I sold my Mach 1 lip and clear fog lights because I was going to get a new bumper, but have repurchased the lip and lights. I also have a new hood in the mail that should be here today. That will def be installed this weekend, no way I am waiting for that install. Aside from the emblem shaving and repainting, the exterior is done. I did Txcobra's led install and love it. I am going to order an Alpine HU tomorrow to compliment the blue leds.. Infinity kappa 6X8 components are also on the waiting to install list, but have to wait for the HU and Alpine 4 ch. A lot of things are going to be aftermarket on the car but not too crazy.

I also have one more surprise up my sleeve that I can take a pic of this weekend. (It makes me :dancing6: but another car owner :wall: )

Thanks for lookin.

Looks good man. I like the black wing on it, it goes good with the rims. I like the staggered look in the rims, which is the route I was going to go w/ on my Cobra. I would say lower it a bit more for a real aggressive look.

I want to go with some H&R supersports but I am scraping already with these c springs. I don't know if I want to drive around like a honda civic and go sideways on everything. Still got to figure it out. Thanks for the replies everyone.

Handz has it right and he's a bit lower than I am. I have SS with no ISO's and it's very low. I really wouldn't want it on a car that's daily driven. Before I bought them I thought I'd just go sideways over everything and be fine...but speedbumps are now out of the question and you really have to pay close attention to the bumps and crowns of the road. Not the most practical setup but the looks cannot be beaten.

It is daily driven which is probably why I am going to stick with the c's. I am going to install the brakes and control arms and am thinking about taking the top iso out in front and both in back. I am going to install c/c plates in a couple weeks, so I can see how it rides.

I am going to get down to my dads tomorrow to do an oil change and will get a couple pics of the new parts that just came in.

Handz or red... how is the ride with no isos? Is it loud or squeaky?
