Mike (stprolla) and I spent all day yesterday detailing the cars. He started with a neighbor's BMW z4, made some cash doing that...then we moved onto the stangs.
I did a full wash, claybar, buff, wax on the 97....detailing the convertible top and interior. Then we both washed, clay-barred, and waxed the 98 and the bullitt.

It was a good day :eek:ccasion14:

Yea man...spent a good 5 hours on the vert...gave it a nice wash, hit it with the mothers clay-bar, gave it a single stage buff with some 3M compound, and waxed it with Meguiras gold class. (getting it ready to sell) Did the same to the 98, just no buffing.

Mike is our in-house detailing guru...so hes gonna hook me up with some chemical guys supplies...so I can take my detailing results to the next level.

Bunch of chemical guys stuff...I'm sure he'll chime in later.

I don't like the Saleens either...they will be coming off soon.

On the Z4 I used CG Fine clay and CG Luber, topped with a coat of Petes 53. Let me tell you, I'm so glad I got the Petes 53, that stuff looks soaking wet on black! The client only wanted an interior cleaning/leather conditioning, engine bay cleaning, clay, and wax, no correction.

When I get home tomorrow night I'll post pics of the detail I did on the Bullitt.

Re: Detailing Session *PICS*

Alright, sorry for the delay, here's the pics from this past weekend. I'll do a "Handz-esq" product breakdown on both cars as well.

Products used on Z4:

Wheels & Tires:
- CG Citrus Wash and Gloss
- CG Diablo Gel
- Meguires Hot Tire Shine

Wash:
- CG Citrus Wash & Gloss (strong)
- Wool Wash mitt
- CG Glass Cleaner

Clay:
- CG Fine Clay
- CG Luber

Paint Correction: Customer requested no correction for this detail.

Protection:
- CG Pete's '53 by hand

Plastic Trim
- CG Silk Shine

Interior:
- Einzett 1Z
- CG Silk Shine
- CG Liquid Leather

Vert Top:
- 303 Top Cleaner/Conditioner

The car looked pretty decent when I got it, it really needed to be polished but the customer didn't want it for this detail because the paint was good enough for him at this point. He just wanted the interior and engine bay thoroughly gone over, and a nice wash/clay/wax. I gave my new Pete's '53 a whirl and DAMN is this stuff great. It makes black look dripping wet! On to the pics:

When I got it...you can see it wasn't that dirty, just needed some lovin':

Nothin' like my morning ice coffee and a a few Yuengs to start off the day!

All finished!

OK, onto the REAL business now. My car has been sitting under a cover for most of the winter, and didn't really need to be polished, nor did I have the time that day to do it, so I gave it a nice wash/clay/wax and went through the interior briefly as I had already done the interior the week before.

Products used on the Bullitt:

Wheels & Tires:
- CG Citrus Wash and Gloss
- CG Diablo Gel
- Meguires Hot Tire Shine

Wash:
- CG Citrus Wash & Gloss (strong)
- Wool Wash mitt
- CG Glass Cleaner

Clay:
- CG Fine Clay
- CG Luber

Protection:
- CG Pete's '53 by hand

Plastic Trim
- CG Silk Shine

Interior:
- Einzett 1Z
- CG Silk Shine
- CG Liquid Leather

I LOVEEE how the Pete's '53 looks on DHG! Gives is a sick wet look with amazing depth. Next detail, I'll be doing a single stage correction with M205, EZ Creme Glaze, and Pete's '53 again. But until then, here's some pics to tie you over :headbang:

Before...I know, NEGLECT:
