Slowly working towards my ultimate plan. Blacked out all my badges. The only one I'm iffy about is the front grill emblem, but overall I really like them. Satin black FR500's will pull it all together.

Thanks for the feedback, but this is a plan that has been in motion for a long time. There is a method to the madness.

It is indeed, I bought it right from their website IIRC. Its the same size as their other guages, about 1" deep. I haven't even filled up my bottle since I installed it, but I can say my other Glow Shift gauges seem very accurate.

I almost like them but they look a little cheap being solid black. Some red accents on the snakes would really make them pop and look more custom.

OEM finish FTW...I never did get on the bandwagon that smoked/blacked out everything/anything looked good...to me blacked out stuff just looks like primered/EDP'd/unfinished. I don't know, probably an unpopular opinion though.

I def like the red lip aswell. I'm pretty much a fan of anyone who does something to their car that reflects a bit of themselves or a style they really like. I kinda dig the clean crisp fluid look. Then again, my cars not close to stock haha.

I've never been a fan of black rims, on any car dating as far back as when the E36 guys were doing it 15 years ago...black rims in general are no more original than Cobra Rs were 10 years ago, or FR500s/Bullits/Saleens are today IMO. I do have to say though, it seems like 3/4 Stangs you see have FR500s now. Black rims and blacked out badges etc aren't really original; nothing's original, you name it it's been done so don't feel bad.

Like I said, I like stock looking cars the best the older I get. Also as I said, probably an unpopular opinion but I'm ok with that. If you like it, that's all that matters.

EDIT: That said, the car looks really clean and it's dying for a black Ford emblem to complement the theme.

...it is black lol. I'm not saying it hasn't been done before. Cobra Rs are over done on SNs, but if you put a set on a station wagon its not "overdone". FRs are popular on this site, no doubt, but have you ever seen any on the street? I legtitimately have never seen a set in person other than my own. Where as half the Mustangs at car shows have Cobra Rs. I didnt think of the blacked out look nor the black FRs with body color lip. But I'm pretty sure I'll be the first to do it on an SN, and even if I'm not it still wont look like any SN on earth. If thats overdone then I dont know how not to be.
