Well I had one located off a 98 mark viii at pick n pull in San Antonio. I just didn't have the extensions I needed to take it off. I'm going back next week maybe if it's not there I'll contact that guy you're taking about.

help you guys out. never heard of bread. but take a handful of multipurpose grease. pack the pilot. take something that fits tight in the pilot. a socket with an extension backwards works well if you can. and strong strikes to the extension to soft and it just pushes in the grease but if you strike it right you build a type of hydro puller. you may have to pack with more grease but ive done a handful this way with great success.

Wet paper works way easier then grease. Works like instantly I've done the grease trick tons . I was doing a clutch on a Chevy pickup and grease wouldn't work so I heard somewhere re about wet paper it worked awesome

Glad to help out. So far ask I have left to do is connect the fuel lines, power steering, intake tube, connect all the vacuum lines, I still need a throttle cable I haven't had a chance to hit up the junk yard yet. Might go this weekend. I need to figure out what to do about the heater lines. Right now they jam up pretty close to the heater connections on the firewall. I could bend them a bit and just loop a hose to them. I'll take a pic later.

So I haven't had much time to work on my car. But today I installed the throttle and cruise control cable, put on the radiator hoses, power steering, and finished putting back the suspension. I desperately need another fuel line disconnect tool the one I bought sucks ass. Its from autozone. Tomorrow hopefully if I can buy or borrow a fuel line disconnect tool I can finish up the fuel system and work on a bunch of little stuff it need, like vacuum lines, etc..

Stock gt cable compared to the mark viii cable.

Just a thought but you could probably dissect the alternator plug and swap them. In other words, put the wires on the current harness into the mark 8 alternator plug.

That's what i'm gonna do. Good thing I saved the harness from the Lincoln.

So today I hooked up the vacuum lines to fuel regulator, pcv valve and breather. I also installed the intake. I need to install the fuel lines and I need a new power steering reservoir. I have two of them and i broke the nipple where the hose connects on both of them!! :( After all that is resolved I can start it.

K&N intake with heat shield. I forget what brand it is.

Intake installed. I know I know, the engine is pretty dusty. I'm gonna give it a good cleaning when it's running.

Stay tuned for more fun!!!

I looked and looked around for a poly transmission mount for a t45 and I couldn't find anything. So I came upon a t5 poly mount I had bought many years ago for my v6 stang, but i never used it. I modified it to fit the t45 and it looks like it's gonna work out well.

I also painted the cross-member while it was out.

I haven't done shit to this piece of shit. Every day I stand in front of this car, gas can in one hand a lighter in the other. Contemplating whether to light this ***** on fire. I pray to the mustang Gods every night to help give me the strength and motivation to finish this damn swap. Until then I can only dream of hearing that 4v scream through chambered mufflers, that smell of roasted tires, and the car in my rear view mirror as I spank my friend in his SRT4 who's been taking shit. Soon my brothers, soon.
