I used their wheel paint w/ good sucess. I also painted the rear end housing and cage on my LX using their gloss black paint in a can. Can't say how it held up because it was a garage queen and i've since sold it. but it was easy to spray and wasn't too expensive.
My friend painted his jeep w/ their exterior paint and didn't clear it(they say you can do either) and it looked good from 20' away but like ass up close and he did a very good job on prep and spray but the paint just didn't have the quality to it to shine like it should.

I've used both duplicolor and G2 caliper paint kits, the G2 is worlds better, the surface comes out perfectly smooth and even after a couple years looked perfect

I know i have seen most people talking about prepping like a mofo for long lasting effects for duplicolor and to use a bonding agent.. Seems to be some great stuff that g2 u use a bonding agent with that and brush it on or spray it on?? The only thing i dont like about the g2 it seems everyone says there is a bunch of extra even after 2-3 coats. Im really thinking of that shadow stuff they got.. Everyone that has posted pics looks great.. now getting a few interior pieces like that would be a mint..

Brush it on, no matter which kit you use dont use the cheap little brush they provide, go to an art supply store (or art aisle of target or walmart) and buy a set of decent brushes in various sizes. Trust me, good brushes make the job much easier.

As for prep I just hit my calipers with a wire wheel attachment in the cordless drill then sprayed them with plenty of cleaner (included in the kit)

Here is the results on my car

Ok calling up G2 this is bs.. Ok so i prepped my work a little and used their cleaner had it about 70* with lights to help.. Did the directions and put on a nice light coat and bam nothing but runs and bubbles so i cleared up the runs and so forth and went after about a hour of drying and second coat it still way to runny and bubbles never cleared.. Idk ive never had a problem with spray and with runs ever in anything i painted. it was 2 days before i could touch it and not leave indents into the paint.. I will say the texture and the feel is amazing great quality but i used half a can on 2 coats for all four and she ran every time even when i tried light coats to counteract it.. Im just going to go and sand her down a little get a nice spray and finish it off, at least make it even.. :( Positive not got the duplicolor paint and used it on the brackets and those came out sexy.. ill post when i get better pics..

Check the expiration date on the G2 package, lot of stores sell it without even checking the date

I think i am able to get way smoother results with a spray can.... Maybe its just my technique but i have gotten pretty good with a rattle can.

I did this with Duplicolor Caliper Paint and High Temp wheel clear

Thanks, I REALLY love duplicolor products.

Whenever i buy a rattle can, i try to buy Duplicolor. I have used semi gloss and Flat Black duplicolor auto paint on many parts of my car.

I even did the rear bumper bottom portion with Duplicolor Bumper coating!!

Well talking to a few 25 yr plus car painters i found out that the paint that the G2 kits use is nothing more then farm equipment paint.. Crazy.. SO literaly i wasted 50 bucks for nothing. Also another thing i laugh about now is when everyone is saying to get close to 1000* for the temp of the paint did they put in the fact that the Wet boiling point of Dot3 is under 300* and dry is at 400* im thinking people with issues with flaking off dont prep their projects or use a higher Dot level excedding their cars ability..
