Has anyone bought a cobra bumper from ebay? There are several new ones on there for less than $200 shipped. Im not expecting it to fit perfectly but how bad is it? I know the best thing to do would be find a used OEM one but I am having trouble finding them in my area. Thanks

I have one on my car. It doesn't fit perfect, but it's not that bad. There should be some pictures of my car floating around on the site, but I'll post some up once I get home.

I think the question probably needs to be - How long are you planning on keeping this car? Short term - GO FOR IT - Long term you might get what you pay for.

I bought a BOI one. Two actually, they were the cheapest I could find without going to eBay and I've been pleased with them and their fitment.

I have cervini stuff on my car and it doesn't fit perfect. They are supposed to be high end. I'm starting to think only ford stuff fights perfect.

I've had an ebay Cobra bumper on my car at some point. It was made out of ABS plastic, so it shattered on impact, it never fit right, and it was not flexible enough. The moment I had a chance to get a factory one, I did.

look into a company called Keystone. They reproduce them right at factory specs and material.

You can order from a supplier or from a body shop as far as I know. They used to have different dealers online and ebay but I havent seen em lately.

I had a Cervini's stalker bumper on my 95GT and it fit awesome. I have an H.O Fiber Trends hood on my Cobra and that fits awesome. There are very few places I would go for quality aftermarket body parts and Ebay is not one of them unless you dont care about fitment or the possibility of spending a lot in prep before it can be painted. The Stalker bumper was easy, just had to get out all of the mold release with a solution and a scub pad then off to the painter and it fit great. I have heard mixed stuff on ABC Exclusive but I still think they are pretty good I have seen their stuff on cars at shows before. As far as the overall very best fit you cant beat OEM, there are some sites that still sell OEM Ford stuff for cheap but I cant remember where.

where are you located? If anyone is near me in NJ/PA I have one that if you are good at body work can be fixed. Luckily I found an OEM one for like 300 to my door from a company in Detroit.. shit was prepped too..

At the time, ford told me 600 for bumper and 1000 for the cobra hood since they are getting real friggin hard to come by

My previous 95 GT had an Ebay Cobra front Bumper. I was not to happy about the fitment around the bottom of the headlights but some tweaking here and there with the upper holes got it pretty close and looked fine. It was black plastic and paint never flaked.. Alot of people said it looked good and couldnt tell.
