so i finaly got springs to drop my truck... er, i mean mustang. :dontknow:

any who, the previously owner had new struts put on, so i dont realy want to change the struts, or pay for cc plates right now... is this still doable?

i plan on pulling the isos, and maybe cutting a half coil out of the springs.

any tips on installing these? i have yet to mess with anything to do with the suspension on this car.. other then the gears.

also, would like to get some feed back on these springs... possibly pics if you have them. thanks!

I have Eibach pro's on mine. The car sits really nice. The front could be a hair lower, but I also daily drive it, so its not practical for me to slam the front. They ride stiff, which I do and dont like at the same time. Id like something softer, but thats just me.
I dont have CC plates, and the amount that its off is so minimal, it doesnt really matter. If I can find the paper, I'll give you exact numbers. But your front end guy might not be as good as mine either

btw, did you install yours, or had them installed, im thinking i should probably get new ball joints, control arm bushings tie rods, and sway bar... also, is yours on stock struts?

assuming your factory Camber plates will allow for enough movement... I found when I aligned a few mustangs with factory plates,
that usually you can only gain appox .4 degrees more positive camber, but for some reason you can go as much as -2.2 degrees
camber... It's like ford knew there would be Road Racers amongst the Mustang crowd.. haha.. These Mustangs (if memory serves
me right) all had various brand lowering springs and aftermarket struts/shocks, and one had Steedas "bump steer" kit.

While you're under there, its probably good to check things out, and get whatever other work done at the same time.
I have a matching set of Eibach shocks and struts in mine. I had a friend install and align mine, got the buddy deal.

I had the prokit on the car when i bought it....I pulled them out and put my ford C's in with no iso's

I've got the pro kit on mine with only top isos. No c/c plates and it aligned fine!

Personal experience with these springs, I like them the ride is very nice, drop isn't much but just enough for me.

I don't suggest you to cut the springs, just trade even/or buy the sportlines. Which is pretty much a prokit with about 1/2 coil cut. Different rate of course.

I have some pics at home of the Pro-kit/ Sportlines side-to-side, ill post the pics later and pics of the stance.

Hmm, so how much lower would it be with all the Isos gone? Stll not much I'd assume.

hmm, ive been looking at all the customer pics on a/m, and all the 99-04 cars seem to sit much lower then the 94-98 cars with the same springs...

maybe these will sit fine with no isos.

i run the springs and dont really complain about the ride. my front right tire is off toe by a lil so i just need to allign it, i like the way it sits
