Looking for any tips/tricks or things that anyone has done to help clean-up their engine bay. Looking more for smaller things that helped make it look cleaner.

I'm planning on doing a mild mild mild wire tuck on my 95 this summer. Hide some wires but leave everything somewhat accessible (as in the fuse box will be staying in a very reachable spot). Heavily considering ditching the EGR system and MAYBE the A/C system as well to free up some weight and help with looks a little too. But I haven't done much so I can't give any legit tips. Just start looking around, there aren't really kits to do wire tucks, but just pop your hood and start moving stuff around. There's a lot you can do just by tidying everything up.

Wire tuck, EGR delete, A/C delete, heater delete... how crazy are you wanting to go?

Duh basically hit the nail on the head. The only trick I know of is to dive in and start offing crap.Passanger apron cleans up fairly easy, wires, TFI and CCRM can go into the fenders. Just leave The MAF harness hanging out and your set. If you off the vacum tree you will clean up the firewall and drivers side corner. Driverside apron is a no go unless you plan on moving the fusebox. Getting rid off the smog pump, egr, cruise control, heater tube and A/C will make a huge difference. The question is how much time are you willing to spend doing it.

heres a pic of a quick clean up Im in the middle of. This is a very simple clean up nothing complex at all but the end result wil be a fairly clean bay. Hers a link to the thread I started about it, will update it this week sometime.

I some how dont think to many people are going to opt to go as crazy as I did... as letting go of the creature comforts was easy for me. Im not so sure anyone else would be willing to lose A/C, cruise ect, but you never know I guess. It basically boils down to what you said earlier about how much are you willing to do. I will say this it sure as hell makes working on it much easier without all the unnecessary crap in the way lol.

and some inspiration for the OP lol

man opal that is just f'n sick, love it. The only thing I could consider doing differently is maybe making a CF or aluminum cover to go on top of the intake and cover that bolt hole. In reality I wish that was all I had to do to make mine look 1/4 as good as yours..
