they were stud mount and also for a 351 c or 400m, they were also just roller tip you want a full roller rocker. if you go too cheap they will break and it will be more expensive. also the cheap ones tend to make more noise.

maybe i missed it but what is your setup going to be? The heads and intake will have to do with what cam you get, and your heads and valve springs should match your cam and rockers.

this is what he said "Current set up: 5.0 V8, 2.73s, rebuilt t5, short throw shifter, x-pipe with thrush mufflers and cutouts, cai, 80,000 mi on motor.

The Plan: Gt40 Intake, Gt40 Heads, 24 lb Injectors, Cam Package (not sure which one any suggestions would help),"

the cobra roller rockers should work. he still not sure about the cam. every one suggested tfs stage 1 or steeda #19 or e cam

ooook. lets start here. You are on stock stuff, and you want a cam that requires little to no extra "stuff" Those that is, like you've been told several times before, e cam, tfs stage 1, steeda 19 and one more, i cant remember of the top of my head. Those are the cams that are run on basically stock stuff. Its always a good idea to change valve springs when you do a cam, and to go overkill on the springs, otherwise you run the risk of stressing the spring till it breaks(happened to me, it sucks) or the springs may bind before your cam has made its full lift. I BELIEVE, someone chime in, that stock springs will work with e cams and stage 1 and steeda 19. Do NOT get a TFS stage 2 (unless you get GOOD springs and check clearance), your springs will not handle it, and you may have issues with piston to valve clearance. Your lifters are fine, they are roller lifters, they dont need to be replaced every cam change like a flat tappet does. Please do yourself a favor and dont go the cheap way out, you will break, and then you'll be spending more money than if you had just got the good stuff to begin with.

I'm sorry I'm so confused. I'm just trying to get everythin straight. I think I'll go with 24 lb inject, light port on heads and intake, and steeda cam. And also the chip and rockers. Is there anythin else I SHOULD do while in there so I don't break
