here's what your check list SHOULD include.....

Cam
Heads
Intake
Gasket kit Felpro, from parts store
Valve Springs (dont skimp here) Summit/Jegs/AndersonFordMotorsport
Roller Rocker Arms Summit/Jegs
Valve Covers (if you change to stud mount they wont fit in stock vcs, pedistal mount will) Summit/Jegs
Water Pump (if it hasnt been changed recently) New, not reman from parts store
Thermostat (if it hasnt been changed recently) 185/190 degree from parts store
Timing Chain set (stock replacement is ok, but I would go double roller) Double roller, available at parts store, or go Ford Racing from Jegs/Summit
Black Silicone parts store
Head Bolts (I dont remember if stockers are torque to yeild, but I'd just get new ones, ARP is best) Summit/Jegs
Upper and lower radiator hoses parts store
FL-1A Motorcraft oil filter, 5 qts of your choice of oil (I run Motorcraft 10w-30) parts store
2 gallons of green straight antifreeze (not 50/50 pour in 1 gallon of antifreeze, then fill with water pour that in) parts store
Razor blades (to remove old gaskets) parts store
8 Motorcraft or Autolite spark plugs parts store
Plug wire set parts store
Distributor Cap parts store
Rotor Button parts store
Hardend push rods Summit/Jegs
Oil pump drive Summit/Jegs
Harmonic balancer Dealership, not parts store, or Jegs/Summit if you want to pay a butt load for it

I'll add on if I remember anything else, but thats pretty complete.

steeda #18 works too. but 19 better.get harden push rods if u stay pedestal mount you really dont need but its peace of mind.
yes, thats good too. only necessary if you have guide plates on the heads, but they are great insurance. also ford racing or arp oil pump drive (bottom of the dizzy) great insurance, not necessary.

Dealership has better quality, but you'll pay a lot more.

Oh, harmonic balancer too. good insurance. if the rubber is poking out then you need one, i'd go dealership on that

thats what i've got on mine. but if you are going to run aftermarket heads you'll need to get the bushings to change the hole in the head from 1/2 to 7/16. (i think those are the right measurments)

dont know much about the proform stuff. I've always like crane, scorpion and ford racing for rockers.

and yes valve springs will be determined by your cam. when you get your cam call the manufacture and ask them what springs they recommend for it.

timing chain is perfect, thats what I've always used on rebuilds. the rocker arms will work, but they are not full roller, just roller tip. you'll be a little better with full roller

yup, i consider then to be stock heads. pedistal mount unless you want to change them. i think there may be studs that you can buy to screw where the pedistal bolts went, that turns them into stud mount, but it'll be easier for you to just get pedistal mount.

oh, and if you run tall valve covers you'll need an intake spacer
