duration=how long the valve is open, lift=how far the valve opens, overlap=how long both valves are open at the same time.
for your set up, go either e-cam, steeda #19 or trickflow stage 1. all 3 of those cams are proven, and are very similar. You're not going to gain a lot from a bigger head with gt-40 stuff on your engine.
if you can find a custom cam for 160 thats an awesome price. is it used? as long as you are getting a tune a custom cam for your gt40 set up would be great. You can only go so far with a cam before you're just pissing in the wind because your other parts arent able to put the cam where it needs to be (rpms, air flow, etc)
it looks ok, if thats the one they recommend i'm sure they know what they're talking about. but an e-cam or trickflow stage 1 is gonna be cheaper and just as good.
I understand your running out of money with this thing, but if thats the case bud. I would set all that stuff to the side and start saving some more. Don't get anxious and throw half assed things into your motor. Or you'll be paying even more in the long run.
I did but I'm afraid I can't pay as much as he is asking. The only thing I hav skipped is the rockers. I did almost new everything. The only thing I'm missing from the parts list given earlier is the cam, head gaskets, valve springs, and the rockers. Everything else I got.
