Rich, with no disrespect, what fox mustangs in 1992 and 1993 came with the AODE? Did a little research and according to my parts department here at the dealership that I work at, a AODE wasnt offered till 1994. That is why I couldnt remember my 93 mustang having an AODE, because it didnt.

I THINK the 5.0s and the 2.3s had the AODE. I'll ask a buddy that will know for sure.

The Mustang didn't get the AODe until 1994, a 5.0 Mustang and a 5.0 Cougar will have the same AOD but a different manual lever.

Holy Santa Clause Shit! You could of had your transmission by now if you would just listen to what you are told. The junk yards can cross reference all of that information for you and get you a trans that will work for your car.

If you want it as direct as possible, then pull it your self. You have the part number, contact Schills or Auto Paradise match up the part numbers. Some times you can even see them powering the car. You have to keep in mind, you have a 93 Cougar. Low miles and that year dont usually go together. As far as the price....spend the dough, 300 is a good price for a working trans.

So you want it cheap, you want it low miles, you want it reliable, you want it local to you, and you want it easy to install for someone who has never messed with a transmission.

YYYYAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWNNNNNNN.

This should work just fine.

I tried that carparts.com BS and emailed everyone worth buying and no emails back, I also lgged in with an account that's used to get on certain sites ( bro in law gave me his name and password ) and I still have not gotten one call or email back, so FK them...either they are bogus and not as listed or sold...because I did ask the rite questons and that's why I bet they have not contected me back, not a one of them trans on that site I bet wil have documents on the miles...
im not buying a trans where someones EX babys mama saYS IT has X amount of miles, when it actually probly has double that. no use in putting in an already poopy trans..if im gonna do it im doing it rite and not half asked..

So if you want a trans with pretty much 0 miles, why not just have yours rebuilt?
