You'll need an elbow for the intake, and those vc won't work with out modification.

The intake on Anderson's website, all after market intakes are designed for 93-older 5.0's, the 94/95 cobra is the only one you don't need it as it is built into the cast.

Im willing to spend at most $1500 on heads whats the best flowing heads for that much?? Once i decide what heads and intake to get im get rid of that b-303 cam anyway. I guess my goal would be 300rwhp since thats what i was trying to do with my 4.6

AFR or Trickflow. Stay away from that knock off exporer GT-40 intake if you want 300 HP. Thats the bottom feeder of intakes for 5.0 Mustangs

The Typhoon is a chineese knock off of the Edelbrock. Ive heard there is a lot of casting left over after its molded, I coulid be wrong but I think it was that one.

Yea, the Typhoon does have a lot of casting defects that need to be worked out before it can be installed, but does produce similar power as the Eddelbrock it's based off of.

GT-40 intakes are pretty good, however it's the upper, not the lower, that hampers the power of the intake. As stated, they're good for low end torque, and when ported, can make decent power. The GT-40 Cobra and tubular GT-40 intakes are pretty much the same as one another and both about as good, the Explorer GT-40 is the worst looking IMO, and worst performing of the three. Best thing to do, however, is to find a 94/95 Cobra or SVO intake as it doesn't require the elbow adaptor or anything else for that matter for the install.

If you get a foxbody based intake (Typhoon, Trickflow, Eddelbrock, Holley, etc.) you'll need the elbow adaptor, which while not expensive, does add to the cost, and aren't as easy to mount the EGR too as the 94/95 Cobra intakes are. I had a Cobra upper intake, but replaced it with the Kenne Bell, which needed the elbow adaptor, and there is one way, and only one way the EGR will mount to the elbow adaptor, in other words, there's not nearly the same amount of play with them. Looked to me like the angle changed a little which caused the issue. It will go on, but you'll be there a while trying to get it all to line up.

But in all honesty, all this work is nearly worthless without a good set of heads, so this is where it's time for you to sit down and decide what you want out of the car.

Forgot the fact that its the most ugly hideous intake to ever be put on a Mustang

Off topic but do you have anymore pics of your car or videos with the KB? you should make a thread and put some in there.

Not on this site, but here's some engine pics.
First pic is of the engine bay before the head/intake swap (no I didn't do a cam, didn't have the extra time to do so)
Second pic is after the work (yes my Cobra intake was custom powdercoated, just kills me that I paid $200 for that to replace it with a Kenne Bell lol)
Last pic is after the Kenne Bell

Yes, they are more suited for a 351/408 stroker. ARR 165's or Trickflow Twisted wedge heads are great for the 5.0/302

Thats the kinda the whole idea down the road i want a 351w and stroke it and i figure get 205cc heads now would be good so i wouldnt have to buy heads now and have to buy some more later and i figure the 5.0 wouldnt mind the extra air flow

if you want a stroked 351 then why are you asking about modding parts for your 302? Its not as easy just dropping in a 351 block just an FYI. Are you doing the labor yourself? If not then your paying to have heads put on, then taken off and put on another engine.
