I must say I like that Cobra more than the S197, but I'm sure you're enjoying it, huh.

Welcome aboard.

no i sold the cobra to a guy who was a Ford tech in Jacksonville. I like the new cars, they are rock solid and the 3v's have a nice steady torque curve. the new cars are probably love it or hate it for most people, although you gotta give props to the numbers some 3v's are putting down out there.

thanks guys, it was definitely hard parting with the cobra, even though i really like the new cars and think ford did a great job with them, if i sold the S197 it wouldnt be that big a deal to me. i wish i couldve kept both but i had some really stupid credit card debt that i paid off with the cobra proceeds. the cobra had full exhaust, springs, nitto's, CAI and 4.10 gears. it was a fun car. had plans on a procharger. its cool though, there are more out there mine wasnt the only one. thats the good thing about mustangs, not too hard to find them.

And then you just rolled the debt back into a 20-25k car? :nonono:

You got it. Pretty stupid move I know. I got car (or Mustang) fever. I assure you this is the last car I ever finance. I plan on paying this one off in 2-3 years.

Well, I've been there. I spent about 3 years making bad financial decisions (i.e. buying two motorcycles I just couldn't live without, buying tons of motorcycle and mustang parts, computers, etc) and I spent quite a while digging myself out, which was not fun.

Unfortunately, now you are going to get the mod bug on the S197. Good luck curbing that desire!
