Do all you people that want Lightnings live in the south? I could never imagine buying a truck and then putting it away for the winter... Not everybody is going to be offroading the Raptor all the time but it's definitely a lot more practical for most people than a Lightning. After all, most of us have Mustangs :icon_rr:

I agree if I want a fast truck ill get rid of the stang and get a lightning but if I buy a truck its gotta be 4x4...

I live in the south and that is nowhere near what we call offroad trucks.

Yes, its badass. But its not the sort of truck that's gonna be wildly popular around here besides the badass factor. It's not an all-around offroader and that's what kills it in my eyes. It's a prerunner. You want a more all around offroad truck? Make a smaller truck with real axles and 38's and make it affordable for the people that will actually use it.

That beast won't even fit on my trails and I bet mud kills it.

Honestly though, would you drop that kind of cash for a truck to drive in winter?

i would.
that truck is amazing and worth every penny imo.

i would also drive it more than just during the winter

Don't get me wrong, its a nice truck, I just think they went the wrong way with it. And unfortunately I'm sure its not going to get used to its max. Mostly just a "look at me, I have a raptor" sort of thing.

It's too cold to be doing crap like that.

I did make... err, persuade the sea-hag clean the black car Sunday when it was so nice though.

I would park it sideways in MY driveway all dirty and muddy, maybe with a dirt bike in the bed.
