Hey guys I just ordered some gauges.
Auto meter:
-Trans Temp
-Water Temp
-Oil Pressure
I would greatly appreciate some help locating a write up on the install of these gauges. I also have added a monster tach. Its a sunpro 5 inch. I connected the power, lighting, and dimmer wires from the tach to pins 3,4,5 on the wiring harness from the rear defrost switch. The rpm reader wire from the tach is connected to the wire that feeds the stock tach. Just putting in that information incase it would change how I would wire up the a-pillar gauges.
Thanks for any help.

Here's a quick write-up I did on water temperature, oil pressure, and vacuum gauges in one of my cars.

For your trans temp gauge, assuming it's mechanical, it will be similar to the water temp gauge setup. You just need to find the appropriate port in the trans to attach the sending unit.

Electrical just means in addition to wiring the light bulbs, you also have to wire all the sending units. However, the installation of the sending units is basically the same. Where the heck are you going to mount your oil temp sending unit? Do you have an aftermarket oil pan?

I prefer mechanical gauges. I have all electrical in my notch, but only because the gauges I bought aren't offered in mechanical and I wanted them really bad.

Oh okay. Then as long as you have a port for it, it will be an easy install. :)
