I didn't read all of this and I dont know if its been said but whatever you dont change anything on your car to appease the g/f. If she does not accept the car for the way you like it then its her problem not for you to have to change something that you didn't intend to.

the last ex liked it(*i think). she always gave me hell 4 it cuz she drove a 240sx and loves imports. always saying "mustangs are like tamponds, every p**** has one"! and stuff like that. the recent ex loved it when i first got it. hated the attention i gave it, hated 2 ride in it, but when it came time that she wanted 2 drive sumwhere by herself she always wanted 2 drive my car! haha. the gurl im talking 2 now loves old muscle cars(favorite car is a 1970 Chevell SS,gotta love her!) and her younger brother has an SN95! so i think im good on that

Probably because at the end of the day when you walk inside, it's the girl who will really matter. A car can be fixed, wrecked, cut up, and patched together over time. It can sit there and not cause you any harm. I think if it's meant to be, you'll not have an issue with her not liking it, if she doesn't she shouldn't have a problem with it. But behind closed doors it's important to remember what matters.
