Broke into the 14's tonight, barely. One tire fire holding me back more than anything. The rear is going to make this car so much better.

4.10's
31 splines
Limited slip
Alum d shaft
fresh uppers
MM lowers.
c clip elims and hardended wheel studs.
Ford Racing Girdle

gonna be a lot happier hooking up.

Sad when a v6 can't hook on 315 555R's

Saw that on the book man... Don't worry with the suspension mods you'll get the hook.. And when you do You should be able to knock that thing down to high 13's

Not bad! The MPH is good for solid 14s for sure.

13s n/a will be a challenge. I bet if you loose a couple hundred punds and get traction under control, who knows!

I want to take it as far as possible without weight reduction first, then throw a set of slicks under it for a few runs just to see lol. At the end of the day, I'm building this for road course/autox so I could care less about the straight line times ;p

Ya, my stable is all backwards. My SVO is my drag car, and my SN GT is my road race car.

16s at sea level is unacceptible!!

Mine runs low 15s/hi 14s, everything else is just as slow up here. I haven't done anything to it in a few years, just started getting back out to the strip last year.

This season I'd like to get my race head and FMIC on it, hitting 13s should not be an issue. Then I'll crank up the boost!!

Nitto's are not all that great for the track. Great Street DR but quite a hard compound for drag racing. You really have to heat the shit out of them to get them to hook at all. Best I could ever get out of Nitto's was a 1.9

I only got them because they were cheap from a friend and I needed tires to slap the new wheels on. I aim to get a lighter weight wheel on the back that I can throw a higher quality either slick or d/r on. But that's in the future when I can actually have both tires spinning :D

Actually, both did spin last night, I gotta go clean rubber off my fresh paint now haha. It's on both sides though!

Wax on the fender bro :p. I always put wax on my rear quarters when going to the track, I don't like rubber on my paint, although my inner fenders are coated. Also good times! Get some traction (slicks!!!) And I can guarantee a low 14 for sure!

Thanks Rice! I know you've got some real seat time in that thing! And yes, I had intended on putting wax back there, however, I wasn't even going to take my car to the track, I actually had someone drive it to me lol! I took my dads truck out there initially.

So it was a bit too spur of the moment to wax it up ;p

I probably won't hit the track again until I have some real rubber under it and I have the rear all done :)

Its not about looking nice or not. I use tape all the time. Do you want wax on your quarters or not? If not then tape them up and you will have nothing to remove or wipe off. I would use wax on the tail pipes b/c once they are coated with rubber it will burn on and not come off. I ruined a set of tips b/c of that.
