Everyone says stock brakes suck like you're gonna hit someone if you don't run out and buy Cobra brakes. I drive a damn Fox and manage to make it through 20 miles of city traffic everyday without coming near hitting anyone, watch where the hell you're going and quite trying to zoom through traffic like your Dale Jarrett and you'll be fine.
That's not the point.
The point is anyone who is anyone bought the car for one reason, to go fast. Going fast is great but when your flying down the track you want to be able to stop within a reasonable amount of time.
11" front disc and drum rear is NOT the way to do it. 94/95 has rear disc, not a huge difference. With the added pressure of a second piston - stopping ability is greatly improved.
Having better brakes is never a bad thing.

No kidding.
There are however, actually people on this forum, who, not in racing circumstances, but rather just driving down the street, have rear ended people, and blamed it on the shitty brakes... It wasn't the brakes, it was the driver.
The OP simply want's to get his brakes back to where they should be, and everyone is throwing a 500 dollar upgrade at him like it's couch change or something.
I've had Cobra brakes before, and I'll have them again. Not because they are the best thing since sliced bread, when you get right down to it, they kind of suck, but because they are the cheapest cool looking 13" rotor shiny red caliper I can get on the car. The same reason everyone else get's them, whether they admit it or not.
